Inspired by the descriptions of Corporal Nobby Nobbs of ankh morpork city watch in the Terry Pratchett "discworld" books I painted this "portrait" from my imagination.

I haven't illustrated him within that world, rather almost as an actor backstage being interviewed about the role...

I love the Josh Kirby illustrations of Pratchetts' world but didn't want to imitate that style, but to try and maintain that humour.
